Black Sabbath bass player, Debbie Gibson praise effort to find new homes for beagles
- Debbie Gibson and Black Sabbath co-founder Terry “Geezer” Butler helped comfort beagles rescued from Ridglan Farms, holding dogs at the Dane County Humane Society and praising the rescue effort.
- About 1,500 beagles were purchased by animal-welfare groups and relocated to partner shelters (1,000 already moved); more than 1,300 people have expressed interest in adopting.
- The rescue follows protests and controversy at the breeding facility, and Gibson says she may foster or adopt one of the dogs.
