11-Year-Old Becomes First Kid to Read 100 Hours to Shelter Pets

Eleven-year-old Nehemiah from Florida became the first child to complete 100 hours of reading to pets at the Jacksonville Humane Society.
He spent two years working toward the goal, reading especially to dogs to help calm them and boost their chances of adoption.
