MLB Free Agency Buzz: Bichette Sticks With Mets, Braves Pick Up Acuña Option

Brewers celebrated their first-ever World Series — big moment as the offseason heat begins.
Hot stove opens Nov. 2; expect big-name free agents to land big paydays, including two-time Cy Young ace Tarik Skubal and Japanese slugger Teruaki Sato.
Early moves to note: Sonny Gray is now a free agent with a $10M buyout after an 18-win, 2.72 ERA season; Bo Bichette exercised a $42M 2027 option with the Mets; the Braves picked up options on Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies.
