Galicia is reintroducing the goat-like "Cachena" cows to graze flammable undergrowth and help reduce wildfires.
Community collectives and government incentives helped native livestock rise from ~1,800 in the late 1990s to ~30,000 (Cachena from ~400 to ~8,000).
