Jimmie Johnson assembled a star-studded, cross‑industry ownership group for Legacy Motor Club — featuring top athletes (e.g., Scott Dixon, Bryce Harper, Kelly Slater), Grammy winner Darius Rucker, chef Guy Fieri and entrepreneurs.
Johnson remains majority owner and says the group will help turn Legacy into a “modern” motorsports brand focused on winning on track plus media, partnerships and fan experience.
Legacy fields two full‑time Cup cars for Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek and occasionally runs a third entry for Johnson.
