Windmill 'at risk' after years of neglect
- Ellis Mill (built 1798) has been added to Historic England’s Heritage at Risk register after damp and damage to its brickwork, cap, fantail and sails.
- A local rescue group drew about 150 people to a recent meeting and has a business plan to run the mill, but says it needs the council to fund roughly £500,000 of repairs.
