Rare Roman ring found in field will go on display
- A hobby metal detectorist discovered an "extraordinary" Roman gold ring with an engraved gemstone and a hoard of coins near Ilminster, Somerset in 2018.

- South West Heritage Trust raised £78,010 to acquire and conserve the ring; it will go on display at The Museum of Somerset in Taunton.
