The world got 11% richer last year. Most people didn't.

Global wealth jumped 11% in 2025, but the top 1.5% now hold nearly 50% of it — so inequality widened.
The US shows a K-shaped economy: average wealth per adult ≈ $696,000 vs median ≈ $69,000 (median fell ~20% since 2020).
Some positives: the share of people with under $10,000 in assets fell from ~75% in 2000 to 41% today, and the US added over 1,200 millionaires per day last year.
