Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Takes Rough Hit, But Remains In Game vs. Jets

Patrick Mahomes suffered a painful elbow injury on his throwing arm after a strip-sack by David Bailey but returned and didn’t miss a snap.
He still completed 11 of 16 passes for 120 yards and two first-half TDs, helping Kansas City move into field-goal range before halftime.
After last season’s ACL tear he’s been playing well — entering the game with 1,795 yards, 12 TDs, 4 INTs and a 99.7 passer rating.
