Man, 19, remembered at funeral after lake tragedy

Hundreds attended the funeral of 19-year-old Panashe Muchenje, who died after getting into difficulty swimming in Balderton Lake during the hot weather.
Family and friends remembered him as compassionate, bubbly and always ready to help — “the type of person that would light up a room.”
He was studying at Nottingham College and applying to join the RAF; police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
