2027 NFL Mock Draft: Drew Mestemaker First Of 6 QBs Selected In First Round

With at least eight NFL teams still lacking a clear 2027 starting QB, the mock predicts intense demand for quarterbacks and a likely Day‑1 run on QBs.
The mock surprisingly has the Chargers selecting Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith No. 1 overall to jump‑start their anemic offense — the first WR taken at No. 1 since 1996.
Big names and position storylines to watch: Arch Manning is projected to the Cardinals at No. 12, while the first round is loaded with edge rushers, corners and offensive‑line prospects.
