Murder arrest as woman stabbed in west London

A woman was fatally stabbed at a property on Uxbridge Road in Hayes, west London, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 20s was also found injured and taken to hospital; a 44-year-old matching the suspect description was arrested and is being treated after injuries believed to follow a jump from a window.
Met Police say there’s no known wider threat, enquiries are ongoing, residents will see increased police presence and officers are appealing for witnesses.
