Trump says press secretary Leavitt to leave job at month's end

Karoline Leavitt will leave her role as White House press secretary at the end of the month to spend more time with her family.
President Trump says she’ll become one of his top outside advisors and an influential voice in the Republican Party as they gear up for the midterms.
Leavitt, who joined Trump’s 2024 campaign and transition team, was the youngest person ever appointed White House press secretary.
