Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong snagged his 35th steal to join the rare 35/35 club (only the 19th player and 25th season to do it), even in a 4–3 loss to Milwaukee.
He’s ripped 41 homers, leads the NL in slugging and OPS and tops the majors in WAR — suddenly a legit MVP candidate.
With 17 games left he needs five more steals to reach the ultra-rare 40/40 club (just six players ever); if he gets there it could be one of the most impressive 40/40 seasons ever.
