Turkey working on legislation to speed up militant PKK's disbandment, Erdogan says

Erdoğan says a new law to fast‑track the PKK’s disbandment will be sent to parliament soon.
The PKK decided in May 2025 to disarm and disband after an appeal by jailed leader Abdullah Öcalan, offering a possible breakthrough in stalled peace talks.
Erdoğan also said integration of Syrian Kurdish militants into Syria’s state apparatus is progressing, a key part of the process.
