Harrison Smith is coming back for a 15th season with the Vikings after briefly weighing retirement — he’s spent his entire career in Minnesota.
At 37 he’s the Vikings’ all-time leader in games played by a defensive back (207) and ranks fifth in franchise history for games played.
Smith’s rare career numbers (39 interceptions, 21.5 sacks, 50 tackles for loss and 100 passes defended) put him alongside Charles Woodson, Brian Dawkins and Ronde Barber; he’s a six-time Pro Bowl selection.
