Colorado State Defensive Coordinator Leaves Mid-Game After Duties Yanked

Dramatic mid-game shakeup: Colorado State removed defensive coordinator Tyson Summers during the first half and he’s no longer with the program.
Co-defensive coordinator Kenny McClendon took over play-calling and his very first play as DC produced a sack-forced fumble.
The move came amid a season-long defensive struggle and a 56-26 loss to Oregon State, underscoring growing pains in Jim Mora Jr.’s first year.
