Russia reports one of the biggest Ukrainian drone attacks on its soil and annexed Crimea

Russia says it intercepted 660 Ukrainian drones in a massive nighttime strike across 12 regions plus Crimea and nearby seas — one of the largest such attacks since the 2022 invasion.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy announced a “40-day influence operation,” widely seen as an escalation aimed at pressuring Russia after stalled peace efforts.
Reports of damage and casualties include a wounded woman and damaged infrastructure near Moscow’s Tula region and two dead, seven injured in Russia’s strikes on Kharkiv; both sides say many drones and missiles were shot down but some got through.
