Ohio State's Ryan Day Or Indiana's Curt Cignetti? Matt Leinart Makes His Pick

Matt Leinart surprised many by picking Curt Cignetti over Ryan Day for Saturday’s showdown, while still calling Day “one of the best coaches” in college football.
Cignetti has completely rebuilt Indiana — 33-2 since he arrived, back-to-back National Coach of the Year, and a 16-0 2025 season that included a Big Ten title win over Ohio State and the program’s first national championship.
It’s a clash of elites: Ohio State leads the Big Ten in total offense and scoring, while Indiana ranks among the conference leaders on offense and boasts the top scoring defense.
