Saints Reportedly Lose RB Alvin Kamara To Injury For At Least a Month

Alvin Kamara suffered an MCL sprain (same knee issue as last season) and will miss at least a month, delaying the start of his 2026 campaign.
The Saints added Travis Etienne this offseason and reworked Kamara’s contract with performance incentives — the injury makes hitting those incentives much less likely.
With Kamara sidelined and other backs just coming back from injury, younger backs Devin Neal and Kendre Miller could see bigger roles, especially in the upcoming preseason game vs. the Rams.
