Model diagnosed with aggressive cancer after finding lump while shaving

While preparing for New York Fashion Week, Alison McCullough found a lump but faced delays getting screened because she was under 40.
She flew to City of Hope, began rapid treatment, completed six months of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy.
Now declared cancer-free, she’s recovering with family, planning reconstruction and hopes to return to the runway to inspire others.
