Trump to meet with Ukraine's Zelenskyy and Syria's al-Sharaa during the NATO summit

President Trump will meet Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Syrian opposition figure Ahmad al-Sharaa at the NATO summit in Ankara, and will also meet Turkey’s Erdogan and hold a news conference.
Zelenskyy told Trump there’s “a real prospect of ending” the five‑year war with Russia as Ukraine steps up attacks and strikes deeper into Russian territory.
Trump has floated the idea that Syria should confront Hezbollah — a proposal al‑Sharaa says he isn’t interested in, adding an unexpected twist to the region’s diplomacy.
