Man who lived in caravan for 30 years without planning permission is allowed to stay
- A man who’s lived in an unapproved caravan since 1996 has been allowed to stay at Warreston Lodge in Pembrokeshire after 30 years on the site.
- Pembrokeshire Council granted a certificate of lawfulness because the caravan had been used as a home for well over the 10-year threshold.
- The landowner (who bought the neighbouring farm in 2003) supported the application, and evidence such as bills, council records, rent payments and aerial photos showed open, continuous occupation.
