- Duke landed a major international recruit: 6'6 Australian point guard Luke Paul has committed to the 2027 class and is viewed as a potential 2028 lottery pick.
- Paul starred at the U17 FIBA World Cup in Turkey (15.4 pts, 6.4 rebs, 7.1 ast) and made the All‑Tournament Team after playing with the Cairns Taipans.
- He’s the second early commit (joining Kager Knueppel) as Jon Scheyer expands Duke’s international reach—ramping up expectations that this talent haul could push Duke toward a long‑sought national title.
