Iceman To Cover Man: Bears QB Caleb Williams Named 'Madden NFL 27' Cover Athlete

Caleb Williams will be the Madden NFL 27 cover athlete — the first player in Chicago Bears history to appear on a Madden cover.
He comes off a breakout 2025: led the Bears to an 11-6 record and the NFC North, threw for 3,942 yards and 27 TDs, and keyed six fourth-quarter comebacks (including an 18-point playoff rally vs. Green Bay).
Williams appears on two covers (mid-air throw and his "Iceman" pose), has a 90 overall rating, and Madden NFL 27 releases Aug. 13 (Aug. 10 for EA Play Pro).
