What Did Brewers Offer Tigers For Tarik Skubal, Who Ended Up With Dodgers?

The Brewers captured their first World Series in 2026 after a 103‑win regular season — they beat the Padres in the NLDS, swept the Dodgers in the NLCS and defeated the Rays in five games.
Milwaukee tried to land Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal at the deadline (offering Luis Peña, Jett Williams and Josh Adamczewski), but Detroit wanted more; Skubal was traded to the Dodgers and wound up facing the Brewers in the NLCS.
Milwaukee added arms (Dustin May, JoJo Romero, Antonio Senzatela) to an already strong rotation (Misiorowoski, Henderson, Gasser), and Skubal — entering free agency — could be a storyline this offseason.
