Col. Bruce Crandall, Medal of Honor Recipient, Dies at 93

Col. Bruce Crandall, a famed Vietnam helicopter pilot and Medal of Honor recipient, has died at 93.
On Nov. 14, 1965, then‑Major Crandall flew 22 missions in 14 hours under heavy fire during the Battle of Ia Drang, actions that saved dozens.
His life and service were recently remembered by Willie Geist on Sunday TODAY.
