Philip Rivers Reportedly Emerges As Focus Of NC State's Coaching Search

NC State fired long‑time coach Dave Doeren and has launched a search — Philip Rivers has emerged as the reported focus of that search.
Rivers downplayed the rumors, saying “there’s nothing there at this point,” but added “never say never.”
Rivers is an NC State alum and former star QB (2000–2003) who now coaches at St. Michael Catholic High School and could return to Raleigh if asked.
