Former Vanderbilt Star Diego Pavia Waived By Baltimore Ravens

Ravens waived undrafted QB Diego Pavia just before training camp, cutting short his stint with the team.
Pavia was a breakout star at Vanderbilt — Heisman runner-up, led the SEC with 29 TD passes, threw for 3,539 yards and added 862 rushing yards in a historic 10-win season.
His release opens the competition for the Ravens’ No. 3 QB (now Skylar Thompson vs. Joe Fagnano) and cleared a roster spot for veteran center Ethan Pocic.
