Man in Texas is accused of using a fake boarding pass to get on a United flight to Los Angeles

A 25-year-old Houston man is accused of sneaking onto a United flight to Los Angeles with a fake boarding pass and hiding in a bathroom.
He was spotted as the plane was taxiing, the aircraft returned to the gate and everyone was evacuated while the plane was searched for explosives, delaying departure by three hours.
Authorities say he initially passed TSA screening earlier but his United reservation had been canceled for nonpayment; he’s now charged with disrupting critical infrastructure.
