Freddy Peralta, Brewers Fan Favorite Of The Past 8 Seasons, Stands In Milwaukee’s Way

Freddy Peralta — once a beloved Brewers ace — is starting Game 3 for the Rays against his old team, creating an emotional “face-the-former-team” storyline.

Peralta has thrived since joining the Rays (late-season turnaround, ALCS MVP) and says Milwaukee fans still cheer for him — a neat human-interest twist.
