Six-year-old Ebola patient taken from DR Congo hospital found and 'doing well'

A six-year-old girl and her mother who were taken from a Butembo hospital by armed men have been found 18km away and the child is reported to be stable and doing well.
Attacks on Ebola treatment centres and distrust of health teams — including attempts to reclaim bodies and burning of isolation tents — are hampering efforts and stoking local fear.
The outbreak (caused by the rare Bundibugyo strain) is still evolving and serious; there’s currently no vaccine, and WHO and Africa CDC are ramping up support and surveillance.
