USA's Sebastian Berhalter To Join Middlesbrough In $2 Million Transfer

Sebastian Berhalter, 25, is moving from Vancouver Whitecaps to Middlesbrough for a reported $2 million fee.
He had a breakout MLS season (7 goals, 4 assists in 18 appearances) and played every match for the U.S. at the 2026 World Cup, tallying a goal and an assist vs. Türkiye.
He joins Middlesbrough in the EFL Championship — a club that finished fifth last season and already has American Aidan Morris on its roster.
