Italy lacks evidence for now to seek trial in Sarajevo sniper probe, source says

Italy is investigating allegations of 1990s "sniper tourism" in besieged Sarajevo — claims that wealthy foreigners paid to take part in shooting excursions during the war.
Five people, including an aristocrat and a former municipal employee, are under probe and police have carried out searches seizing items such as a silencer and a rifle photo.
Prosecutors say the evidence is currently circumstantial and not enough to seek trial; they will meet EU, Belgian and Bosnian counterparts on June 29 to try to gather more.
