Trump has already found someone to blame if Republicans lose the midterms

Trump’s signaling now that if Republicans lose big in the 2026 midterms, he’ll blame congressional GOP more than himself.
His low approval and habit of making the midterms all about him could actually hurt turnout for other Republicans.
If he does scapegoat the party after a loss, it could spark a nasty intraparty fight or push some Republicans to reconsider backing him.
