Jack Strand Joins Elite Company By Throwing Pick-Six On First Career Pass Attempt

Undrafted Minnesota State Moorhead rookie Jack Strand made his NFL debut for the Falcons late in the third quarter — and his very first pass was picked off and returned for a touchdown.
That pick-six on his first pro throw puts Strand in rare company, joining Brett Favre, Jameis Winston and Sam Darnold as quarterbacks who've done the same since 1991.
Strand finished 8-for-15 for 59 yards; his stint will likely be short as Michael Penix Jr. is expected to be available soon while Tua Tagovailoa remains sidelined with an oblique injury.
