CJ Carr, Notre Dame In Perfect CFP Position After The Revenge Upset Win vs. Miami

Notre Dame upset then-No. 1 Miami 31-24 — fans stormed the field in a cathartic revenge win after last year’s loss in Miami.
QB C.J. Carr outplayed Miami’s Darian Mensah, throwing for 319 yards and three TDs and celebrating the moment with teammates and fans.
Micah Gilbert had nine catches for 98 yards and two scores; coach Marcus Freeman called it “a special moment,” with the game honoring Lou Holtz and the storied rivalry.
