Mariners Promote Top Prospect LHP Kade Anderson From Double-A to MLB

Top prospect Kade Anderson was promoted and will make his MLB debut Saturday vs. the Cubs, ending a 14-month minor-league wait.
He dominated Double-A (10-1, 1.06 ERA) and features a mid-90s fastball plus a devastating changeup after being taken No. 3 overall out of LSU.
Anderson’s call-up could shake up the rotation (possibly a return to six-man) and offer a timely pitching boost as Seattle fights for a Wild Card spot.
