- BYU is No. 8 and 6-1, returning home after its first loss (39-31 OT at UCF) — they’re 4-0 at LaVell Edwards Stadium, so can they bounce back in front of a raucous crowd?
- Arizona State’s quarterback spot is unsettled (Mikey Keene questionable, three QBs have thrown this year), so expect ASU to lean on playmakers like RB Cardae Mack (159 yards, 4 TDs vs K-State) and WR Reed Harris (800 receiving yards).
- Key matchup: BYU QB Bear Bachmeier adds a running threat (7 rush TDs) and WR Legend Glasker stretches the field, while BYU’s line has allowed just four sacks — can ASU generate pressure or will BYU’s protection beat them?
