WHO says Ebola response catching up as confirmed DRC cases hit 344

WHO says it's "catching up" with the Ebola outbreak in DRC (344 confirmed cases, 60 deaths) and the virus has spread to Uganda (15 cases, 1 death).
Testing has improved and labs have cleared much of a backlog; several patients have recovered (6 in DRC, 2 in Uganda) when they get prompt care.
Big gaps remain—only about 45% of contacts are being followed up and WHO needs roughly $115 million for the next three months (about 35% raised).
