Joel Klatt Says Jeremiah Smith Is 'Entering The Chat' As Greatest Buckeye Ever

Jeremiah Smith hauled in 11 catches for 206 yards and 2 TDs at Iowa, becoming Ohio State's all-time leader in both receptions and touchdown catches — and the first Buckeye with back-to-back 200-yard receiving games.
FOX's Joel Klatt says Smith is "entering the chat" as an all-time Buckeye great, joining names like Cris Carter, Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith‑Njigba, though Klatt still ranks Archie Griffin and Orlando Pace slightly ahead.
Klatt notes a clear path: if Smith wins the Biletnikoff and the Heisman (he already has a national title), he could legitimately challenge Pace as the greatest Buckeye — he even celebrated a 57-yard TD with a Heisman pose.
