Ford recalls nearly 149,000 Mustang vehicles over potential power issue

  • Ford is recalling 148,663 2024–2026 Mustangs for a wiring defect that can cause loss of drive power or disable headlights, A/C, washer or cooling fan — increasing crash risk.
  • The recall covers cars built Sept. 7, 2022–June 9, 2026; regulators estimate about 1% may be affected.
