Boy, 11, died after crossing road to his mother
- An 11-year-old boy, Seth Fulton, died on 17 April in Chaddesden, Derby, after being struck by a bus and then a car while cycling across the road; the coroner ruled it was not safe for him to cross and neither driver had sufficient time to avoid the crash.
- His parents remember him as adventurous, cheeky and full of life — he loved skateboarding, BMX riding, wildlife and had a booming personality.
- The case and the inquest finding have prompted renewed conversation about child road safety and supervising young cyclists.
