The injury came on a scramble-turned-interception as Tampa Bay lost 23-16 and slipped to 0-3 amid Mayfield’s rocky start (1 TD, 4 turnovers through two games).
The setback arrives weeks after Mayfield signed a three-year, $165 million extension in September, making him the franchise’s highest-paid player.
