Female artists garden told to vacate roof terrace

The Artist’s Garden — a free, interactive rooftop sculpture space at Temple Station showcasing women artists and drawing 100,000+ visitors a year — has been told to vacate by 1 October so the roof can be assessed for safety repairs.
Organisers and artists fear the project may not return, while Westminster Council says it will help find a solution and Places for London promises public access is legally protected and is exploring alternatives.
Visitors and exhibitors call it a “gorgeous,” peaceful spot that boosts visibility for women artists, so its possible loss has prompted local concern.
