Girl, 15, critical after swim at beach beauty spot

A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition at Alder Hey after getting into difficulty swimming at Formby beach on Bank Holiday Monday.
Members of the public helped her before emergency crews arrived, and police are appealing for witnesses.
