Judge denies Minnesota's bid to compel the extradition of an ICE officer from Texas

A federal judge refused to force Texas to extradite ICE officer Christian Castro, who is charged in the Minneapolis Jan. 14 shooting and allegedly lying about it, saying the case isn’t ready for court intervention.
Castro must be released after 90 days in Texas custody, and Minnesota officials warn he’s a flight risk who could flee to Mexico — they plan to keep litigating.
