Shohei Ohtani returned to the Dodgers as their DH and leadoff hitter after a four-day break for knee, biceps and neck soreness.
The team has "put a pin in" his pitching with no timetable to throw again, so he’s focusing on hitting and likely won’t pitch this season.
The Dodgers swept four games without him, and utilityman Tommy Edman excelled as leadoff (7-for-17, .412) while filling in.
