China says Taiwan should not 'interfere' in its air force missions around island

China’s defence ministry says Taiwan must not “interfere” with Chinese air force missions, insisting Taiwan is part of China and vowing to boost training and combat readiness.
Taipei has complained after publishing photos of Chinese warplanes and warships, reporting more than 100 Chinese vessels operating along the “first island chain” and saying it’s on high alert.
Tensions have included a coast guard confrontation near the Pratas Islands and come after Xi Jinping discussed Taiwan with U.S. President Donald Trump.
