Kremlin says US spy chief held talks with Russian counterparts during Moscow visit

U.S. CIA Director John Ratcliffe visited Moscow and held talks with Russian intelligence officials.
He did not meet President Putin, though the Kremlin says Putin was promptly briefed on the talks.
Kremlin called such intelligence contacts “positive” but said it’s too soon to expect any quick improvement in strained U.S.–Russia ties amid the Ukraine war.
